On My Wishlist | Loren Hope Statement Necklaces

I have always been a bracelet girl. For some reason arm candy feels better to me than necklaces or rings with giant baubles. My Marc Jacobs Katie bracelets and Michael Kors Astor bangle are usually my go-to accessories. Sometimes I wear just one, sometimes I mix it up and wear two together, or mix them with other bangles in my accessorry stash. Lately however, I have been getting into statement necklaces. I have about 10, only three of which I wear. Time for some new ones!

On my quest to to land a darling statement necklace, I came across the most exquisitely beautiful pieces from Loren Hope. It was love at first sight when I laid eyes on her elegant, sophisticated, yet edgy and unusual statement pieces. Have a look for yourself…

To me, Loren is a master of colour and I adore how shes uses it. Her pieces are bright and elegant without being loud and garish. Apparently she pulled colours from Hubble photos of the Carina Nebula. How cosmic!

Some pieces exhibit custom hand-coloured glass stones and crystal, so expect the prices to be around the $100 mark and upwards. With the current Rand/Dollar exchange and the cost of postage and customs, I think I’ll leave my purchasing to the next time I visit the States.
