Looks I Love

Every day, I see outfits that inspire me. Whether they come from a magazine, the runway or the street, I fall in love every day! This post is to share some of my favourite looks with you and perhaps inspire you to create new outfit combinations. Here they are…

Make a Statement

I heart this look because of the beautiful neutral blouse teamed with a bold turquoise statement necklace. I’m also a big fan of the gold bracelets and rings.Try this combo with skinny black pants and patent leather heels or skinny jeans and a pair of nude peep toe stilettos.

Magic Mint

This look combines mint skinny jeans with a plain white t-shirt, a tan belt and tan peep toes. The addition of the jacket, gold cuff and clutch make it that much more sophisticated.

Pretty in Pearls

This look uses skinny black pants, a sheer, plain white tee and a soft satin blazer, accessorized with multi-layered strands of pearls. The edginess of the black bra visible through the white t-shirt is offset by the classiness of the pearls and the formality of the blazer and pants. The black nail polish also makes it slightly more edgy. For a classier look, you could opt for red nail polish and for a fresher look, you could go with a pale pink hue.

Coral Leopard

I adore this look! The leopard print shirt underneath the coral cardigan works so well (leopard + coral = stunning), and the woven belt which is tied a unique way adds some interest to the outfit. Paired with skinny black pants and metallic pumps, and accessorized with an over sized gold watch, this look is a winner!

Lovely Lace

Perfection! I love the way this outfit has been put together. The flirty lace pencil skirt is dressed down by teaming it with a loose-ish grey t-shirt. The overall look is taken up a few notches by accessorizing using a gorgeous black and gold belt, cap toe heels (which are bang on trend) and a clutch bag with some gold detailing. The sleek ponytail gives a polished look, but this look could work with just about any hairstyle!

If you are inspired by any of these looks, try to recreate them from items you already own, and that are currently in your wardrobe. If you like the Lovely Lace look, but don’t own a lace pencil skirt, you can switch it out for an ordinary black pencil skirt.  To bring in the lace element, you could add a pair of heels or a clutch bag with lace detailing. Add some gold bracelets, do your hair and you’re set!
