Louboutin for Cinderella

Cinderella is the luckiest Disney Princess ever. I say this not because she ended up with an adoring Prince, who searched an entire land for her, after which they lived happily ever after. No, my proclamation goes deeper than that. Cinderella is the first Disney princess to have a shoe designed for her by none other than shoe god, Christian Louboutin. This shoe is possibly the most iconic shoe in literature and who better to design a modern day Cinderella slipper than Mr Louboutin himself?

Instead of making the shoe completely transparent (in the fairy tale the slippers are made of glass, but you already knew that), Louboutin used lace to give the illusion of transparency and fashioned a glittering, Swarovski-crystal-covered heel. He also added butterflies, saying that he imagined a modern-day Cinderella would tend to her chores while the delicate creatures would land on her.

All I can say is I wish I was a Disney princess!
