The Face of YSL Black Opium
Yves Saint Laurent Beauté is delighted to announce Edie Campbell, 2013 Model of the Year as its brand ambassadress for its new fragrance Black Opium.
The announcement took place on May 6th in Paris at the Electric during a Reveal cocktail that gathered more than 300 beauty top-editors and key influencers.
With her British elegance and unique style, Edie Campbell rapidly captivated the top names in the fashion world. Spotted by Lucinda Chambers in 2009, Campbell began her career in front of the lens of Mario Testino who photographed her for a “Young London” feature for British Vogue, together with a group of up-and-coming young Londoners. She went on to be singled out on the catwalks of the most prestigious fashion houses. From the very beginning, photographers were attracted by her presence and her aura.
