Louboutin’s Quirky Window Displays
I love how creative Christian Louboutin is. His website is super quirky, but oh-so-cool and his boutiques are just beautiful! Last year I had the opportunity of visiting the Madison Avenue store in New York, which was an amazing experience. No, I didn’t buy a pair, as I couldn’t find a classic enough shape to justify dropping a huge amount of cash on and the Pigalle wasn’t available. He has a thing for bell jars, and all of his shoes are either displayed inside bell jars, or in a silhouette of a bell jar. Even though every store is different, the bell jar concept is constant.

His boutique window displays change quite frequently, and I came across this new display recently:

How beautiful are those black embellished platforms?
At his London flagship store,Selfridges, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Christian Louboutin, this is what the window display looks like:

Each image you see above has been photographed especially for the project. Each window focuses on a different form of movement using symmetry and kaleidoscopic motion, with specially engineered mechanical elements powering the moving graphics. This is the type of creativity I like to see from a brand!
