Review | Urban Decay Naked Palette
If there is one eye shadow palette you simply must own, it’s this one.
Why, you ask?
I have always dreamed of an eye shadow palette where every colour is amazing (so I get to use all of them, where I don’t have to leave 1 or 2 dodgy colours for the bin) and all the finishes are perfect. Never have I owned such a perfect eye shadow palette. That all changed the beautiful summer’s day I bought my Naked palette from Macy’s on West 34th Street, NY (*happy nostalgic sigh – I wish I could be back there*). This palette has every colour to achieve a natural or come-hither look, in a range of matte and shimmer finishes. Look at the swatches below and then decide for yourself…
What I like about it
• I love ALL the eye shadow colours – they are really all so lovely. YES! I really do use all of them (you’re not getting any eye shadow this time ’round Mr Dustbin)
• The shadows are highly pigmented and the colour payoff is outstanding
• Included in the palette is a small Primer Potion (an eye shadow primer that ensures your eye shadow doesn’t crease) as well as a great eye shadow brush
• You can create quite a few looks with this palette – flawless natural or sexy smokey eye, whichever takes your fancy
• The packaging is cool-chic – the case is velvet with a metallic closing mechanism (it doesn’t have hinges and plastic bits so it can’t break! Thank you Urban Decay for being so clever.)
What I don’t like:
• There is nothing that I don’t like about this palette!
The Urban Decay Naked palette isn’t available in S.A., so if you know anyone coming from anywhere overseas where this palette is available, get them to pick up one of these bad boys for you. You won’t be sorry.
