Looks I Love
Good morning Lovelies, I hope you are all doing super well. I love the way that fashion can mould you into whoever you want to be for the day, and that you can use it as a tool to express yourself. Having said that, I think we all need a few fresh ideas now and again. Here are some looks that I adore and want to try. Hopefully they will spark some fashionable flashes in your pretty little heads!
This look combines four things that I love: simplicity, stripes, leather and black & white. I love how effortless and clean this ensemble looks. For some colour, add a brightly hued bag that you can wear as a clutch and paint your nails in a bold colour. I would suggest a pointy toe stiletto in either matte or patent black. Finish off with some wayfarers and messy hair and you are good to go. This look could be worn to the office or for a lunch date.
The unexpected combination of black with brown and white makes this maxi dress that much more appealing. Pair with a messy up-do, a chunky silver necklace, a few gorgeous bangles and a statement ring and you have achieved a perfectly elegant day-time look.
Want to be sexy, feminine, demure and fashionable all at the same time? Simply pair a sheer blouse with some skinny jeans (that must a) be a bit frayed or ripped and b) fit you like a glove) and some killer leopard print heels. Accessorise with a simple necklace, a few bracelets and a colourful tote. Go for pink or red nails with sultry wavy hair.
Instead of wearing black shoes with a brightly coloured frock, go for a nude heel instead. Nude heels elongate the leg and let the colour take centre stage, whereas black tends to drag colours down. Be unpredictable and sport a violet clutch against the hot pink. To complete this look, I would suggest loose, wavy hair and deep burgundy nails.
Shorts can either make you look chic or cheap. How not to wear shorts: don’t pair them with a sleeveless top or a plunging neckline and heels or too much bling. Do wear them as pictured above: with a gorgeous shirt, some fierce heels, an over-sized gold watch and an unfussy ponytail or messy bun. This would be perfect for a lunch date or drinks.
