Pedi Perfect: Playing with Colour
At my pedi last week, I wanted to go for a super pretty colour, something different that I haven’t had in a while or maybe even a brand new colour. I was taking off this blue:
and came so close to going either a vibrant lumo coral or a milky neon yellow.
Thankfully I made the right decision by not going yellow or coral, since I have red on my fingernails. I decided to go with a pink. But not just any pink. No. I created my very own colour by mixing a lumo pink with some white, to tone it down and make it more milky, and a medium pink, to take the lumo edge off.
The result? Custom pretty pale lumo pink toes that make me smile whenever I look down. Next time you go for your nails, be bold and ask to mix a colour – if you know the exact shade you want. It’s easy to mix gel colours, as long as you stay within the same brand. What colours will you be rocking this December, Lovelies?
