Style, simplicity and silhouette are at the heart of Trenery’s Spring 2014 collection for women. Clean shapes, luxurious textures and muted tones, reflect both a timeless aesthetic and a nod to international trends.
July features trans-seasonal ‘wear now’ pieces, in a versatile neutral and navy colour palette. The linen waterfall trench, tailored blazer and relaxed slouch pants are highlights in the collection. They are complemented by beautiful silk and linen shirts with vintage prints and pinstripes continuing the subtle man style trend. This month also sees the launch of coated jeans, building on Trenery’s popular denim options.
August is all about the silhouette. From sculptured t-shirts to a silk maxi dress and Delave linen pants; all shapes are considered and feature beautiful, clean lines. The new rider jacket, tan leather jacket and leather shorts juxtapose with the collection’s luxe silk shirts and chic woven t-shirts, catering to both the cool and the pretty aesthetic. Hues of blue and indigo are featured in different shapes and textures. Luxurious linen is seen throughout the collection, including a stripe skirt,utility shirt dress and the stand out pinstripe trench.
In September, we are taken back to black which is paired with bold graphics and diffused with neutrals and pops of primary colours. Drawing inspiration from the international runways, we see painterly prints, statement polka dots and brush spots. Clean lines and modern silhouettes are continued with the leather blazer, cropped wide leg pant and flip midi skirt.
The sports luxe trend continues with a sporty bomber trimmed with ribbed jersey, woven t-shirts and a leather dress. This trend is further complemented by the Weekend Luxury capsule which includes woven silk sweaters and silk shell tops designed to be worn with the modern utility pant or elastic waist short.
Designed to complement the apparel range or be worn as standout pieces, the accessories collection features new styles in luxurious leathers and textures. The drawstring tote and shoulder bags are introduced in khaki, caramel and black, while the barrel bag has been updated in beautiful foil embossed leather in mandarin and soft gold with matching wallets and clutches. A fashion highlight is the perforated tan and chalk ‘lady-like’ shoulder bag to take you from day to night.
The new shoe collection includes directional styles such as the peep toe bootie, glove leather heel and sports luxe loafer. The range of scarves has been expanded to include beautiful silk knit blends, jacquard and double tassel detailing, designed to add the finishing touch to any outfit.
