Review | Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
After reading countless reviews from beauty bloggers that I trust (especially Essie Button talking about how her boyfriend uses it), I managed to get my hands on a bottle of Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
It is described as a “replenishing nighttime facial oil with distilled botanicals that visibly restores the appearance of skin by morning. It regenerates, repairs, and replenishes skin for smoother, healthier skin and works with the skin’s natural nocturnal activity – when skin is most receptive to repairing itself from daily aggressors – to dramatically restore skin. It is 99.8% naturally-derived and paraben-free.”
It’s filled with good-for-your-skin ingredients like Omega-6 fatty acids, Evening Primrose Oil, and other essential oils including Lavender and it works overnight to help your skin recover radiance, and to make your skin feel smoother and softer. You are supposed to use 2-3 drops on cleansed skin, and to gently press it on your skin before massaging it in. I use more than 2 drops, to be honest. I find I need more like 4 or 5, but that may be because my skin is dry (or because I get dropper happy).
