River Island S/S 2015

By  |  0 Comments

Last week we were treated to a beautiful dinner by River Island to showcase their new Spring/Summer 15 collection. Even though we are going into autumn, we are lucky because there is no lag between what we get versus what the the consumers get overseas. You’re probably thinking that this is all great, but that you can’t really get away with a short-sleeved dress in winter. The good news is that they have loads of blazers and beautiful coats. Besides, that why stockings exist! Feast your eyes on the beautiful food we were treated to and some of the hot items on offer …

I am LOVING this neon orange lace skirt as well as the monochrome blazer.

This is how I would style these pieces:

RI skirt

This lace pencil skit can be worn so many ways, but I settled on this look as my favourite. Because the lace pencil skirt is quite girly, and because I love a bit of edge, I added the bold metallic statement necklace and a studded clutch. The denim jacket would be beautiful for day, but could be swapped out for a leather jacket by night. Caged nude heels complete the look.

RI Blazer

Clearly you can see that I am obsessed with Valentino’s Rockstud range, and here I’ve paired this gorgeous grape studded bag with some boyfriend jeans and basic nude heels. This outfit would be great for creative meetings or a lunch date, or any fashionable autumn escapade. For night time, I added some sleek black pants, and decided to up the ante with a red, burgundy and black studded clutch bag. Again, you could wear the nude heels, but you could also swap them out for an equally beautiful black pair.

Style is such a personal thing. How would you wear these pieces?
