The Perfect Pair

The ultimate, perfect shoe that I must one day own comes courtesy of Christian Louboutin – the Pigalle. Currently, I find a huge, gaping hole in my wardrobe and it is Pigalle shaped. Look at how beautiful these heels are…

There is no other shoe that comes close in terms of class, style, design or shape. These would go with – oh – everything I have ever owned, past or present. Jeans, pencil-skirts, dresses, the lot. The Pigalle would even make those old mustard jeans I used to have look good. (I was 12 and it was a trend!)

It has the right kind of pointy toe – not too pointy that it would curl up off the ground and make you look like a weird elvish creature, and it is the perfect height. It is one of those styles that would make anyone wearing them look super sexy, as it dreamily arches the foot. It is also easy to walk in because it doesn’t have a platform.

Starting at R6000 per pair, this is definitely an investment shoe, and only for the shoe die-hards out there! The Louboutin Pigalles would be great to take you through spring, summer, autumn, winter and every season for the rest of your life, too!

There’s the notion that luxury brand high heels make you feel like you’re walking on air. Quite frankly though, these babies could be lined with razor-blades and I’d still buy them (once I’ve saved up, of course)!
